All of our instructors have a very thorough background in education and have many years of teaching experience. Our instructors are highly qualified professionals whose livelihood revolves around teaching, composing, arranging and in general... simply making music! Every teacher at Mobile Music Lessons is passionate about music and just as passionate about transferring that love of knowledge to our students. Student achievement is our number one focus, therefore we seek out instructors who are committed to this vision.
Online Learning Spaces
The renowed Canadian professor and cognitive researcher Brent Davis has noted that "We are smarter collectively than we are individually." Have you ever played a trivia game as a team? If you have, you would conclude that each player brings a different level of knowledge based on his or her experiences. When this happens we are able to pool our ideas together and stand a better chance of having the correct answers. What if we made music education this way? A collective process where students can get together, collaborate and share ideas?
At Mobile Music Lessons we provide a free online learning space to promote this sharing of ideas. Mobile Music Class is a place where students can find video lessons online, listen to recorded audio files, and do much more, all to enhance the learning experience and promote their accomplishments.

ELECTRIC GUITAR
Guitar lessons for your child are designed to encourage discovery. We start with a chord approach that utilizes the first three strings on the instrument and a focus on melodies.
BRASS & WIND
Brass & Wind instruments are super fun! From recorders to clarinet to trumpet and trombone. We can start your child with an instrument that is playful and not intimidating.
VIOLIN
On the surface, the violin might appear like a daunting instrument for children – but we make it fun! From learning the classics to playing the “fiddle” based folk songs of yore!
Our Approach
Piano
A great place to start a musical journey. Children begin as early as four and five learning the black key method. Children six and up learn the Middle C method with an emphasis on traditional and modern melodies.
After successful evaluation, students can switch to familiar method books and progress towards studying the Royal Conservatory Method, an internationally recognized curriculum.
Guitar
Our Guitar lessons for your child are designed to encourage discovery. We begin with a melodic approach that uses the first three strings of the instrument. We then switch to simple three and four string chords so the student can jam along with the teacher. We teach simple scales in order to learn how to improvise to the blues!
The guitar is an instrument where students can sometimes become overwhelmed due to the visual similarity between the strings. Therefore, our students are taught to visualize the guitar in small ‘boxes’ to help group the overall shapes of chords.
